The cost for embossing is $10.00 per ‘strike’ or whatever can fit into our embossing machine to be stamped in one shot. Our machine accommodates up to 3 lines 5” in length, the number of characters will vary by font size.

The fonts currently available are:

• Cheltenham 36pt

• Garamond Bold 30pt

• Rondo 34pt

• Twentieth Century 24pt

• Ganjon 24pt – **not pictured on sample card, photo sample shown of “Gastro Market Inc.” for reference

Colour options:

• Blind debossing without pigment (the top line in the samples pictured)

• Matte gold foil

• Matte silver foil

• Metallic gold foil

• Metallic silver foil

• Metallic copper foil

• Black foil

We can emboss most of the products in the online store**, however, embossing products after assembly limits where the embossing can be placed and it can be detrimental to the quality of the results depending on the product. For most products it is ideal to do the embossing prior to assembly so we always recommend thinking ahead and placing a custom order so we can complete the embossing ahead of assembly.

Alternatively, and especially for bags, we often recommend having a leather tag made up to attach to the bag with the embossing text on the tag instead––this is an easy and more flexible approach to adding embossing text to an assembled product from our store.

**Please note that every leather is different and even the different areas of the hide leather is cut from can and will affect the final result of the hot embossing process. Years of experience and more trial and error than I care to admit have equipped me with the knowledge required to make the best recommendation for your embossing needs and produce excellent results 99% of the time, however, working with natural materials always comes with some degree of unpredictability––a perfect strike cannot be guaranteed every time.
